Began as a Registered Nurse in outpatient neurosurgery at Baylor Scott & White, coordinating complex, multidisciplinary care.

Served as a Public Health Nurse with The University of Texas at Austin, translating rapidly evolving guidance into real-world care during COVID-19.

Earned an MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner from UTMB Galveston and began mentoring nursing students at Austin Community College.

Amayrany Maya-Mora, FNP-BC
I'm a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and the founder of Calia Wellness & Aesthetics. My clinical path spans outpatient neurosurgery, public health, urgent care, and primary care in a federally qualified health center — experience that shapes an evidence-based, whole-person approach to aesthetics, hormone optimization, metabolic health, and wellness.
I hold a Master of Science in Nursing (FNP) from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, a BSN from UT Health San Antonio, and I am currently a Doctor of Nursing Practice candidate at UTMB Galveston. I also hold an Associate of Arts in Spanish and am proud to care for a diverse community fluently in English and Español.
